As we will be catching the KTX to Busan tomorrow for our ferry to Japan, we are changing accommodation to be closer to Seoul Station. The check in time isn’t until 4pm so we decide to head to Le Four Doré bakery, which we reckon is the best bakery in Seoul. (Note: The best bakery in all of South Korea is Green House Bakery in Mokpo but we’ll tell you about that when we eventually get around the blogging last year’s cycling trip).

It’s a nice day so we walk there. Upon arriving the cafe is super busy, probably because it’s lunchtime rush hour on a Monday. We decide on the jalapeño cheese bread, fig loaf, avocado tomato pastry and salt bread.

We walk back to where we left our bikes at the AirBnB and set off to our next place. It’s about a 13km ride, and once we’re on the Han river it’s all smooth sailing. We cycle almost the entire way there and before having to walk the last little bit due to cars and human traffic.

Turns out it’s one of those Radisson hotel suites and upon entering, the unit has been decked out with disco lights and soothing music.

The place has a HUGE TV so Cheye throws on the baseball. We relax for a bit before heading out to 다옴국수 (Daom Noodles), a vegan noodle place we came accross on the Happy Cow app. It’s only about a 1km walk down the road.

It turns out to be a cheap and cheerful mum and pop run places, and we order the dumplings and two noodle dishes. We notice quite a few travellers dining in and start chatting to an Australian family who are travelling around Asia for the next few months.

Afterwards we decide to suss out Seoul station as we will be catching the KTX fast train to Busan tomorrow before jumping on the overnight ferry to Japan. Seoul station is massive as it links about four different train lines. Hoping we have everything under control for tomorrow!
We stop by the convenience store on the way home for some dessert. There’s been a huge trend of zero sugar products recently so I decide to try a zero sugar ice cream made of 순두부 (soft tofu) which really wasn’t as bad as it sounds! Cheye got something a bit more normal though.
